Container Poetry

The Container is a universal object. Everything we surround us with has been carried in a container, and I like to use it as a metaphor for several meanings. My fascination of containers began with the exhibition in 2005: “Andersen in Europe”. It was displayed at the Danish Cultural Institute of Hungary and at the Museum of Studio Ceramics Denmark. The containers are closed with a ribbon, carrying a short embroidered poem or words.
