Artist Statement

With inspiration from Industrial harbors, I create abstract architectonical sculptures and smaller series of functional objects. I enjoy walking along at the wharf.It is my passion and base for creating new inspirations for new work. I see the enormous containerships, the international and philosophical aspect of the harbor as a metaphor for things going on in life, stories about coming and leaving. is something that I’m very interested in.

I work both with sculptures and functional work. I like them both to have relations to the harbor. A cup is also a container!
